I was given an excellent introduction to Bremerhaven by the Greeter Wolfgang who took me round the harbour area that in recent years has been transformed into a residential and leisure district with a number of spectacular buildings. I was also given some historical facts about this interesting city and shown some of the houses from the maritime past.
